Unplug turns your screen-time goals into commitments you actually keep.
Set a daily limit on the apps that pull you in, then put real consequences behind it. Join a challenge with friends or go solo. Stay under your limit and nothing happens: your money stays yours. Go over, and the amount you committed is charged to your card. Nobody wins anyone else's money, there is no pot and no prize, and winners are never paid a cent. It is a promise to yourself, with follow-through built in.
How it works:
- Pick the apps you want to cut back on (social, short video, games, and more).
- Set your daily limit and the length of your challenge.
- Decide what a missed day costs you. Nothing is ever charged up front.
- Track your progress in real time and see how your group is doing.
Features:
- Accurate on-device screen-time tracking.
- Group and solo challenges.
- Practice mode, with no money involved.
- Optional focus tools that step in when you open an app you are limiting.
- A clear history of your results.
Important disclosure: use of the AccessibilityService API
Unplug uses the Android AccessibilityService API, with your explicit opt-in, for two features: detecting which app is in the foreground so it can warn you and enforce the limits you set the moment you open an app you chose to limit, and, only if you turn on Block Shorts, recognizing short-video feeds on screen so it can close them. On-screen content is processed on your device only and is never collected, stored, or shared. Unplug never reads what you type. Your screen-time totals sync to your account, because that is what your challenges are scored on. You can turn the permission off at any time in Android Settings > Accessibility.
Unplug is built for people who are tired of "just one more scroll" and want a system that makes their goals stick. Download it, set your first challenge, and take your time back.
Screen-time goals with real consequences. Follow through, keep your money.
