the app is good in theory, but there is a lot of competition for the few jobs that are available. and they take a pretty good chunk of your hard work. there are better platforms. also, when you complete a job it takes about 2 weeks to actually get paid. so if you need money now, this isn't the place. the upgrade fee is definitely not worth it. in addition every time I uploaded a profile photo that was me and unaltered I got aeasage that my profile was at risk because of my profile pic. don't ree

so I downloaded and started looking into jobs. found a few promising ones. bought the membership, paid the credits. now my profile is under manual review and even though I've bought the subscription I'm still unable to bid on jobs. so far a complete waste of time and money. I'll update when/if the situation is corrected.

Upwork used to be fine years ago! now it sucks!!! probably new greedy owners with poor management or smth, not sure. I just paid to get some connects (it's been a while since I used it) and it asked me to get verified while I was on my pc, then for verification asked to scan the qr code and now after scannin it does absolutely nothing! so I'm stuck unverified and wasted $ for not being able to bid!!!! seems like it's time to completely forget about this platform and switch to others!
