**HOW THE BLOCKER USES THE ACCESSIBILITY API**

UrgeLock's optional content blocker uses Android's AccessibilityService API, only to block the adult websites and apps you choose to stay away from. It sees which app is open, and when that app is a browser it reads the address bar to check it against your block list, which is stored on your phone. It does not read the text of the pages you visit, keeps no history, and sends nothing off your device.

The blocker stays off until you turn it on. The app explains exactly what it can see before asking for the permission, and you can turn it off at any time in Android's Accessibility settings.
