"Broken Screen Realistic Effect Prank" is a free broken screen simulator for your phone. App will display cracked glass images on your phone. It will look as if your phone's screen got cracked. You can set the trigger thanks to which the broken glass effect will appear. You have the choice to shake your phone, touch the screen or set time after which crack display image will appear. You'll get six different broken glass graphics to choose from.

Remember: To remove broken effect just run app again or select "Touch here to remove broken screen" in android status/notification bar.

It looks pretty realistic! I've seen others where the crack or chips do look a little bit better, though. However, not only does this app give you the option of keeping your own real home screen (if that is the screen that you want to 'break'), this app can work on top of any of your other apps! Plus, there are a bunch of different types of cracked screens to choose, and settings that let you 'activate' the cracked screen by tapping the screen, shaking the phone, or after a set # of seconds.

In my opinion, the visual effect wasn't very realistic, but it served its purpose. My bf borrowed my phone because his broke...again. He brought the crack 2 my attention but i couldn't hold back my reaction. I'm not a very good prankster! The sound effects available on the app were cheesy, but i was able 2 turn that off. The crack was only on current screen. It was good for the initial shocker but that's about it! He said he wasn't fooled. He couldn't see thru to what he was trying to text.

I want the app to work when my phone is asleep. It needs to appear smashed as a deterent to theft. No one wants to steal a broken phone. And then it needs to go back to normal once security is passed to your normal screen. Hopefully that makes sense.
