A sequel made with love. I loved the first game enough to play through it multiple times. I'm so glad this game is up to par. It's a game completely on its own, but it's short. Like others have said (about this and the first game) it can be finished in under 2 hours, 1 if you really push it. I'm sure like the first game there will be an expansion or two and they will be worth it. There's nothing else much like mv, it's a really enjoyable experience.
This is a very welcome sequel to the first of its name, bringing fresh challenges and a rekindling of interest in this type of puzzle. As a few have pointed out, there is a bit of a shift in some aspects in regards to comparing the two. I noticed that, and at first, I was kind of put out, adopting a similar view. Yet, I think that I had placed expectations to have the same fulfillment of surprise and wonder as had the first game stirred. The enjoyment is still there, it's just, like now, it's a different time in the story and that is well worth it.
Fabulous sequel to the amazing original game. Been waiting for this game to come to Android for ages and it really was worth it. The sound and level design is as expected top notch. The dynamic having the two characters inside this beautiful world is a welcome addition. Yes it's quite expensive for what it is. However the amount of time and effort that goes into games like this really is worth paying for. This along with the first game is going to remain on my device so I can replay over and over as they are both really that enjoyable. Chuck some headphones on and get completely lost in these wonderful worlds!
Not as thought provoking as the first version. It became more like the "Hollywood" version: stunning visuals but shallow in game play itself. There was no depth or complexity of the puzzles as in the previous version. Again, it's visually perfect but the 12 puzzles included in this game are more like a simple "click and advance". It is a beautiful piece of art but not much more to become a real classic. Overall, still very enjoyable game but the price does not justify the quality.
A disappointing sequel. Would be ok as an expansion pack. The levels are shorter and not as challenging as the first version. Dynamics of having two characters is not realized well. There are only few new puzzle mechanics, none of 4d mind bending stuff that I liked. There is also a heavier merch push. Overall, it seems like developers focused on cashing in on a successful game, rather than bringing awesome first game to a new level.
The only complaint I have is that it was over too soon. I think they may have been concerned that making the game too hard would make it lose appeal, but they missed an opportunity by making it too simple. It was still fun to play, but they should have remembered that it is a sequel. So, we've already figured out the Escheresque perspective shifts by now. I still think that it was definitely worth it. Cheaper than a movie, and more engaging.
