This work is the result of cooperation between the Department of Learning and Media Design of Taipei City University and the Taipei Zoo. The zoo is not only a good holiday destination that many people have heard about since they were young. Children can see pandas from China, lions from Africa, koalas from Australia, etc. in the zoo. With a deep connection, the zoo shoulders the heavy responsibility of animal conservation and education. We hope that through what we have learned in this department, we can contribute to this grand vision.
I am very grateful for this opportunity to cooperate with Taipei Zoo. The theme of this APP is "Hey Bear". I hope that Taiwan's treasure - the conflict between black bears and humans in Taiwan will be taken seriously by the public. No matter how to deal with black bears in the mountains, It also advocated the replacement of traditional traps with improved traps to minimize the loss of this conflict.
In the app, we use linear stories interspersed with interactive mini-games, allowing learners to operate the role of the Taiwan black bear, while advancing the story step by step, while knowing and learning related information about the Taiwan black bear, including: basic information on the Taiwan black bear, the origin of the Taiwan black bear Resident legends, what is the Forest Service, bear damage and human-bear conflicts, traps and follow-up events that Taiwanese black bears often fall into by mistake.
