not verry accurate if you want to see what the UV will be for the rest of the day you have to have a subscription

Hi Claire, it's not a subscription, just a small one-time fee of around 3 dollars for the forecast, since the app is using weather data from a weather provider which charges money. Hi, the current UV index is completely free, for as many locations as you like. Only the forecast is paid, and it's a one-time fee of about $3, not a subscription. That's what lets me keep the app free of ads and avoid selling your data to third parties. Kind regards, Sandra, the developer of the app

Hi Chloe! the current UV index is free and withoud ads. The forecast is a small one time fee to cover costs from the third party weather service and keeps the app ad-free with no tracking or data selling. If you prefer to sell your personal data to third parties, there are plenty of other UV apps that do it. Kind regards, Sandra
