NOTE: This app is designed exclusively for commercial use on Android TV OS devices (TVs or STBs) in hospitality environments such as hotels, serviced apartments, resorts, and hospitals. It is not intended for personal or consumer use.

Vaast turns any Android TV into a full-service hospitality terminal — branded entertainment, in-room service, and operator-controlled content — without adding extra hardware to the room.

⭐ USE OF THE ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API FOR HOSPITALITY KIOSK MODE
Vaast is deployed by property operators ("authorized administrators") as a managed in-room device. To deliver the kiosk experience these operators configure for their guests, Vaast uses the AccessibilityService API for two purposes, both consented to by the property operator at device setup:

- Maintaining the configured app surface. The hotel operator chooses which apps appear on the device (e.g. Vaast itself, Netflix, YouTube, Spotify). The AccessibilityService observes window state changes so the device stays on the operator-configured surface and does not drop a guest into the system Settings or Play Store mid-stay, which would create on-site support tickets for the property.
- Auto-redirect to launcher. It automatically returns the device to the Vaast home screen if a guest accidentally exits. This preserves the property's brand consistency and ensures a seamless, easy-to-use interface.

The use of this API is essential for the app's primary function as a kiosk-mode launcher in a commercial hospitality setting. We do not collect or transmit any personal data through this service.
Before the AccessibilityService is enabled, the user (typically the hotel's deployment technician) is shown an in-app consent screen with explicit "I Agree" and "I Don't Agree" options. Consent can be reconsidered later from Vaast's Settings > Accessibility entry. AccessibilityService events are processed locally on-device and are not sent to any server.
