About this game

Every puzzle hides a pattern. Spot the rule, fill the gap - that is the whole
game, and it gets cleverer as you go.

Patternix has 13 kinds of puzzles, from picture patterns a five-year-old can
read to two-step number rules that will make an adult stop and think. Every
puzzle has exactly one logical answer, and after each one you can tap "Why?"
to see how it works.

PUZZLE TYPES
• Missing Number - find the number that fits the sequence
• Spot the Mistake - one number breaks the rule, tap it
• Name the Rule - pick the rule that made the sequence
• Number Grid - rows and columns follow a pattern
• Row Rule - the same rule turns two numbers into a third
• Magic Sums - every row and column adds to the same total
• Missing Sign - which of + - x ÷ makes the sum true?
• Balance It - find the number that balances the equation
• Number Pyramid - each block is the two blocks below it
• Number Machine - work out what the machine does
• Shape Pattern - what comes next in the picture pattern?
• Odd One Out - everything belongs together, except one
• Fruit Math - each picture stands for a number

FIVE WAYS TO PLAY
• Journey - 50 stages across 5 worlds, with stars to collect
• Classic - three lives, how far can you go?
• Time Attack - 60 seconds on the clock
• Daily Challenge - five puzzles, the same for everyone, every day
• Play with friends - 2 to 8 players, online or on the same Wi-Fi

MADE FOR EVERY AGE
Easy mode uses pictures and small numbers for young players. Medium is a
proper brain workout. Hard asks you to type the answer instead of picking it.

FRIENDS, NEAR OR FAR
Play online with anyone, or on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot with no internet at
all. Six modes including Team Battle, Survival and a gentle Kids Party.

LEARN AS YOU PLAY
Stuck? A free nudge points you in the right direction, and a hint shows the
rule. Every answer comes with a worked explanation, and the Learn section
teaches each puzzle type with examples and free practice.
