SoundRadar is a beautiful, modern sound level meter that answers a question no other meter does: not just HOW LOUD a sound is, but WHERE it's coming from.

Point your phone at the noise and watch a live, real-time decibel (dB) meter with a smooth rolling graph, PEAK / MIN / AVG readings, and a clipping indicator. Then let the radar do something unique - using your phone's stereo mics, SoundRadar estimates the DIRECTION the sound is coming from (Left/Right, and Up/Down on supported devices) with a confidence level and a live radar visual.

Honest note: phone mics sit close together, so direction is a rough estimate to point you the right way - not lab-grade localization. We'd rather tell you the truth than over-promise.

Your audio is analyzed on-device, in real time, and is NEVER recorded, stored, or transmitted. The mic is only ever a live meter - nothing leaves your phone.

A friendly 4-band safety classifier reads every moment in plain language - SAFE, MODERATE, LOUD or DANGEROUS - with clear warnings when levels climb above 100 dB. Perfect for concerts, gyms, clubs, restaurants, a baby's room, a noisy workshop, or a disruptive neighbor.
