About this app

ValidaTrans is the app for validatrans.com customers: the electronic administrative control document (DeCA) for each shipment, on the driver's mobile phone.

THE QR CODE WORKS EVEN WITHOUT COVERAGE
The Resolution of June 5, 2026, allows the display of the QR code or the link instead of the physical document. ValidaTrans draws this QR code directly on the mobile phone: nothing is downloaded at the time of the inspection, so it works even in a mid-level traffic situation, in a tunnel, or with no data available. When opening a DeCA, the screen brightness increases to maximum and remains on, ensuring the officer's reader recognizes it immediately.

DICTATE IT FROM THE CAB
Press and hold the button and say the license plate number, your origin and destination, and what you're carrying. The app fills out the DeCA automatically and shows you what it has understood so you can review it before issuing it. Anything you don't say remains blank: nothing is fabricated. The audio is transcribed on our own servers, not on a third party's.

OR FILL IT OUT BY HAND
Date, license plate, origin, destination, and goods. The DeCA is issued and instantly available, with its serial number and QR code.

WHAT IT INTENTIONALLY DOESN'T DO
If a DeCA is a draft, has been canceled, or its public download is closed, the app DOES NOT display the code: it explains why. Showing a QR code that, when scanned,
doesn't provide anything is worse than having nothing at all, because the driver thinks they are covered.

And if the connection is lost during issuance, the app doesn't automatically retry: it warns that it's unknown whether the issuance was successful and offers to check. Two control documents for the same truck are worse than none.

EVERYTHING ELSE
• List of DeCAs for the account, saved on your mobile device and accessible offline.

• Monthly consumption and contracted plan always visible. • One-touch linking: Scan the QR code that appears when you create the key at validatrans.com with the app, and you're done. No typing required.

• No ads, no analytics, no tracking. It only requests two permissions: internet access and microphone access while you hold down the dictation button.

AN ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED TO USE IT
ValidaTrans is a subscription service with a free plan. You create your account at validatrans.com and generate the key that links your mobile device from there.
