With caller ID, you always know who's calling. The Clever Dialer app identifies unknown phone numbers. We use publicly available directories (Das Telefonbuch, Das Örtliche, Gelbe Seiten), as well as ratings from our community, to find unknown numbers for you. We try to find out the identity of unknown callers for you. Additionally, you can easily block annoying callers directly. That's why spam detection is the most important feature of the Clever Dialer app. Thanks to its large active community, Clever Dialer can quickly identify and block phone numbers as spam, making it the perfect call blocker. This also works when you don't have internet, as all spam numbers are stored directly in the app.

Age notice: This app is intended for adults and young people aged 16 and over. It processes phone numbers and displays advertisements in the free version. Use by children under 16 is not intended.

🔐 Permissions — Why and what for?
From Android 10, Clever Dialer uses the official Android role "Caller ID and Spam App" — this gives the app only the permissions Android provides for this purpose.

Each permission is used exclusively for the stated function.

Privacy & number owners

Clever Dialer uses publicly available directories (Das Telefonbuch, Das Örtliche, Gelbe Seiten), publicly accessible internet sources, and ratings from our community to identify unknown callers and detect spam. Processing is carried out to protect against unwanted and fraudulent calls on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Doesn't appear to do anything. I had Mr. Number but when I got my new phone it wanted me to upgrade to a paid version. So this app had good ratings, but it gives zero information on a number. Not even the city or state so I am googling numbers anyways to see if they're spam. So it does nothing but throw up big ads. I decided to uninstall. I just want an app that rates, blocks, and prevents incoming spam calls. Somehow that's become a unicorn to find for free.

Mostly good. Third one I tried that actually worked. blocked numbers can still leave a voicemail. and they still show up on my history! how can i turn both of these off please?? is there also a way to have my number go straight to voicemail instead of ringing? i essentially want the same experience as the basic android call blocking feature. 1. it sends them straight to voicemail and 2. never shows up in my history. almost like it never happened. Thank you!

Ich bin total begeistert wirklich toll weiter so Unfortunately, I have to revoke my good 5-star rating when I wanted to buy the app again for a year I couldn't access it for three months now suddenly it works, there is neither an excuse nor anything else at least one could have offered me that one on The contract ends for two months, but the customer service doesn't seem to need to communicate with me. I haven't heard anything, so it was the last time that I signed up for this app. It's best to use another one because this is anything but customer-friendly bakery
