Does some neat stuff with personalization. However, the UI is crap and can be fairly confusing. There is no "out of office" setting, and I wish there were more options for a voice message once it's recorded. It DOES do voicemail to text, which is a nice feature that isn't advertised at all. It's just over the threshold to keep as my primary voicemail app, but I'm keeping my eyes open for something better. (Or isn't $6/month to upgrade to premium)
I've been using Youmail for at least 5 years now. It was a great app but it has been super buggy lately. I had issues on my Galaxy s7 and now I'm having a lot of issues on my s8. It randomly crashes even when I'm not using the app. It causes bunch of Bluetooth and audio issues whenever I launch it. Bluetooth just stops working and all of my audio comes out of my earpiece. I've tried reinstalling the app but I'm still having issues. These issues need to be addressed asap!!
What the heck? I know I had an account before with a previous number. I go sign in and it requires the phone number and then says no account for number. Then I go create a new account and it says account already created for this email. I don't understand how I'm supposed to sign in and change my number. Won't let me in either way.
Installed didn't like it deleted it and then I got no voicemails I can't Uninstall it because then I don't get my voice mails. I am so angery I will be calling on Monday and if I can't get this fing app to stop hijacking my voice-mail I will call my lawyer! They should tell you that if you delete it that you will not get your voicemails.
Recent updates have been good for the service. The contacts still don't synchronize. I can upload new ones but it won't update old ones. If someone changes phone numbers its really a pain to get the old number to go away.
If you're on the s8+ you'll need to add an extra * in front of the forwarding number otherwise the forwarding command fails on tmobile at least. **004*theirnumber# after that it will work. This info is nowhere in their docs and their support told me they had no s8's to try to fix it with. The app works great after you figure out the call forwarding.
