Futacha is an unofficial browser for comfortably browsing Futaba☆Channel on smartphones and Wear OS. It combines essential functions for daily browsing, including board management, catalog viewing, thread viewing, replying, image/video viewing, saving, history updates, and monitored keywords.

Main Features

■ Board Management
- Register frequently viewed boards and open them quickly from the list.
- Supports adding, deleting, and sorting boards.
- Registered boards are saved within the app and can be used again the next time the app is launched.

■ Catalog Viewing
- Retrieve the catalog and display threads in a list.
- Supports catalog search.
- Switch between catalog display modes such as newest, oldest, most frequent, fewest, and most popular.
- Switch between grid view and list view.
- Adjust the number of columns in grid view.
- Supports returning to the top of the catalog, manual refresh, and opening with external apps.
- Supports thread creation.
■ Monitoring Words
- You can register words of interest as monitoring words.
- Threads matching monitoring words are displayed more easily.
- You can also check threads matching monitoring words in your history and through Wear OS integration.

■ Thread Viewing
- You can view the thread body, number of replies, posted images, and video links.
- Supports in-thread search and allows you to move back and forth through search results.
- Supports replying, refreshing, and moving to the top/bottom.
- You can display previews of images and videos within the app.
- You can view images and videos all at once from the attachment list gallery.
- You can tap quoted replies to check the content of the quoted source.
- Supports actions such as liking, requesting deletion, and self-deletion from long-press operations on posts.
- You can open threads in external browsers and external apps.

■ Reply Organization and Filtering
- Supports management of NG words and NG headers.
- Supports filtering and sorting of replies within threads.

* Enabling the privacy filter displays an overlay on the screen to mask content.
* On compatible devices, on-device AI-powered thread summarization and post filtering assistance are available.

■ Text-to-Speech
* Supports reading aloud the thread text.
* Allows playback, stop, pause, and forward/backward navigation.
* URLs in the text are excluded from reading aloud for easier understanding.
* You can also control the smartphone's text-to-speech function from your Wear OS device.

■ History
* Viewed threads are saved in the history.
* You can return to previously viewed threads from the history drawer.
* Supports manual updating, individual deletion, and bulk deletion of history.
* The history displays thread titles, board names, number of replies, thumbnails, etc.
* Saves the scroll position for each thread, making it easier to continue reading when redisplayed.

■ Save and Offline View
* You can manually save threads.
* Save the text, images, videos, and thumbnails, and view them from your local HTML file.

* Supports automatic saving, allowing you to keep history updates and currently viewed threads locally.

* Even without an internet connection, threads with saved data can be displayed as offline copies.

* Supports viewing, deleting, and checking the size of saved threads.

* Allows you to set the save location folder.

* On Android, it supports SAF folder selection, allowing you to specify the preferred file manager app.

■ Background Refresh

* Enables background history refreshing.

* On Android, it uses WorkManager to request periodic refreshes at intervals of at least 15 minutes depending on the device status.

* Refreshes the history response count and automatically saves the data.

* Actual execution time may vary depending on the OS, network status, and battery status.

■ Cookie Management

* Allows you to manage cookies necessary for posting and viewing within the app.

* Supports checking, deleting, and updating cookies.

■ Customization

* Allows you to change the theme and color scheme.

* Allows you to choose from multiple app icon options.

* You can adjust the displayed items in the catalog bottom menu and thread operation menu.

* You can use settings tailored to your device and preferences, such as lightweight display.

■ Wear OS Integration
futacha includes additional features for Wear OS. You can synchronize boards, history threads, monitored words, and the number of new replies to threads from your smartphone to your watch and check them on your wrist.

The Wear OS app supports the following operations:

* View a list of synchronized boards
* View a list of history threads
* View threads matching monitored words
* View threads with new replies
* View a simple preview of threads
* Request a history update from your smartphone
* Open boards and threads on your smartphone from your watch
* Start, pause, stop, and move forward/backward from your watch when reading from your smartphone

■ Wear OS Tile
You can add a Wear OS tile called "futacha New." The tile allows you to quickly check the number of new replies, the number of matching monitored words, the synchronization status, and the reading status. Tapping the tile opens the futacha Wear OS app.
