This app is a pain in my a**hole. It's slow and laggy. The update makes the login process more complicated. I get that it's for safety and security but it's obvious that disabled users weren't taken into account. It is much less accessible now and the "remember me" feature doesn't always work. I'm frustrated and I use the app much less than I used to. Update: There have been several updates since I posted this. Everything is still awful. Cheers.

I joined Vancity so I could ditch my bank (in 2004!) but I've needed that old relationship to get out of some serious online banking pinches, even recently. Days long gaps and irregularities in service/support can create major disruption when important purchases are compromised, cheques bounce, and can even impact a person's safety (thinking travel). To be fair to the app developers, 18 years later, this has to signify a more systemic and chronic lack of investment at a higher level.

My proficiency with technology is high, but this app has proved to be buggy and inconsistent. Even as I attempt to login with my OnePlus device, it will load and then inexplicable shut down. Many reinstalls later it occasionally will let me through, but more times than not, I'm forced to begin again. This is a large institution that needs to put more resources into making online banking a seamless experience whatever the user platform.

We’re working on the app experience to make it better, faster and more secure. In version 16.2.13 we have made some bug fixes to mobile remote deposit capture.
