About this app

VARYNX is a free, offline threat detector for Android. It scans locally, scores risk, and alerts you. It does not block apps, lock your phone, or intercept traffic.

LOCAL DETECTION. NO CLOUD.

VARYNX looks for risk signals on your device:
• Suspicious nearby Bluetooth / BLE devices
• On-demand QR codes (camera scanner)
• Wi-Fi validation and captive-portal state
• Clipboard patterns (when Android allows a read)
• Crypto-related clipboard, package-name, and QR signals
• Device integrity checks (developer options, USB debugging, root indicators)
• Apps that requested draw-over-apps permission
• Call-screening burst signals (this Play build does not read SMS or call logs)

HOW IT WORKS

• Guardian scans about every 10 minutes when enabled
• Manual Scan runs the same detectors on demand
• You get a 0–100 score, alerts, and redacted local logs
• Basic / Moderate / Hardened choose which detectors run and how noisy alerts are
VARYNX is a detector, not a firewall. It warns. It does not stop a threat in progress. VARYNX 2.0 is the separate guardian product.

PRIVACY

• No VARYNX cloud uploads of security data
• No ads, analytics, or account
• Logs stay in private app storage with sensitive identifiers redacted
• QR scanning uses Google Play services ML Kit, which may download barcode model components on demand
