Being able to lock it with the app was a major reason I bought the Kirin S1. This feature couldn't be more useless, just turn the scooter off and back on and it's unlocked. Nothing else in the app works properly, total distance tracker resets when you turn off the scooter, top speed shows as 0km/h at all times, and toggling cruise control doesn't work. Nothing to justify all the intrusive permissions. Uninstalling.

Edit: Updated software is a bit better when I now can turn off the Cruise control. One big issue is still the electronic brake that seems to work as as on-off button at speeds above 15 km/h. It gets more sensitive at higher speeds. It should be the other way around . On the wish list I would like to be able to lock it, change speeds, brake sensitivity and have some drive history as well since total mileage is always zero.

Lots of people are having problems from app not connecting to bluetooth fail. My experience. When iv not conected in a few hours. It doesnt accept the code. Sometimes its taking 10 or more times to connect. Or it will say connevted then drop off. Apart from that all it needs is a jurney planner on yhe map. Whitch doesnt work ever for me. The reason it does get four stars is the security application. I can stall the motor out by the app and use a 20 digit pass code if i like. Thats worth the sta
