Been using this for years as its a beautiful app. However, it doesn't save my photos anymore. I have auto-save on, more than enough storage which includes a 256mb card. Cannot understand this as I use the standard/free filters and it doesn't even save those. Please can this be looked into as it seems I am not the only one experiencing this. Thank you.

Hi, we're sorry for the inconvenience. Retrica has many free filters, but if you use a premium filter without a subscription, the photo won't be saved or shared. If you get an error saving a photo even when using a free filter, check that you are logged in to your Play Store account. If you need more help, please email us at contact@retrica.co.

I was excited to see an app that recreated the classic Instagram experience, but... 1) The ads are very intrusive. It's often not clear how to close them. 2) The paid filter subscription nag is obnoxious. If you try to publish a photo with a filter, you are sent to a subscription screen with no explanation. When you use a filter there is no explanation of which are free. 3) Signing up for an account was confusing. I would not recommend this app to my late boomer friends.

Edit: after a couple of years and even having switched the phone... I get exactly the same. On an Android Pixel... My back camera shows 4 panes, 4 images at the same time and for the life of me I can't figure out how to turn it off! Front camera shows normal picture. Jeez, how frustrating is this... just for the record: I just installed the app and opened it. Didn't change anything. Will try to find the proposed solution

Hi, you might have selected the Collage photo mode. On the Retrica preview screen, just right below the shutter button, there's a toolbar for Collage, Photo, GIF, and Video, slide the toolbar to the left to select the Photo. If you need more help, please email us at contact@retrica.co
