Why monitor your heart health?
Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is the most common cause of fatal strokes and the most common complication after heart surgery. People who have AFib or are at risk for AFib can benefit from monitoring their ECG and pulse regularly.
ECG rhythm helps to identify Arrhythmias like AFib. However, AFib may be intermittent, and an EKG taken at the doctor's office may not detect any arrhythmia. Having a device in the palm of your hand is key to monitoring and early detection.
