About this app

Find the perfect baby name — together.

Swipe through names, tap the ones you love, and let the app learn your style. Connect with your partner and see where you agree. When you both love a name, it’s a match.

Featured in The New York Times, Good Morning America, Freakonomics, SheKnows, and top parenting sites like Today’s Parent and Brit + Co.

WHY PARENTS LOVE IT

♥ Swipe to Rate — The app learns your taste in real time and shows you names you’ll actually love.

♥ Partner Matching — Both rate names independently. The app finds your matches, from “you both love it” to “worth discussing.”

♥ Deep Name Insights — Tap any name for detailed data you won’t find anywhere else: origin, meaning, popularity over 100+ years, common professions, and similar names.

♥ 30+ Curated Lists — Browse by theme (Floral, Nature, Mythology, Biblical, Literary, Shakespeare), by trend (On Fire, Heating Up, Vintage, New Arrivals), by profession, and more.

♥ Smart Recommendations — The more you rate, the smarter the suggestions. Our algorithm finds names that match your unique style.

I think this is the most complete baby name collection app available. All names are accompanied by meanings or at least an explanation of where they come from. There are also names of brothers/sisters that might match the name you choose, even professions that most people with that name have. The display is simple and you can use it offline. Good app!

I have had this app for a number of years, always found it the better of the baby name apps, however the upgrade has hugely decreased my enjoyment of this app. I liked that I could search easily, find names in my liked list based on when I added them, and get information about name meanings etc without bright colours/swiping/gimmicks! Unfortunately, the user interface has been ruined by this update and sadly I'm unlikely to continue using it.

Thanks, Daisy. We understand the update feels different, and we’re sorry to hear it’s impacted your experience. The new version includes more names, info, and features, but we’re always open to improving. Please let us know what specific functionality you miss—we’d love to make the app better for you. Thank you for being a loyal user!

There's a feature on this app that's supposed to tell you how to pronounce the names, but it's awful. It's a computerised voice which doesn't pronounce names properly, like a really low-budget Siri sort if thing. It either says the names too fast or just completely wrong altogether. It pronounced Artemis as "art-mis", Ares as "arse" and Aurora as "roar-a" to name a few. The rest of the app is well thought out but a lot of the pronunciations are terrible. Not happy considering I paid to upgrade.
