About this app

LinkLoop is a glucose tracking and family sharing app built for people living with Type 1 Diabetes and the people who care about them. Whether you are managing your own glucose levels or keeping an eye on a loved one, LinkLoop keeps everyone informed and connected in real time.

Connect your Dexcom CGM through the Dexcom Share API or link your Nightscout instance to automatically pull glucose readings into the app. Once connected, your latest readings sync every five minutes, matching the update interval of the Dexcom G7. You can also log readings manually if you prefer fingerstick testing or use a different meter.

The Care Circle is at the heart of LinkLoop. Invite trusted family members, caregivers, or friends to join your Care Circle so they can see your glucose readings and trends without needing access to your CGM app directly. Care Circle members receive a simplified view that shows the latest reading, trend direction, and time since the last update. This makes it easy for parents, partners, or caregivers to stay informed without being overwhelmed by data.

Customizable alerts help you and your Care Circle stay on top of critical changes. Set high and low glucose thresholds and LinkLoop will send push notifications when readings cross those boundaries. Notifications go to both the person wearing the CGM and their Care Circle members so no one misses an important change.

The home screen gives you a clear snapshot of your day at a glance. See your current glucose reading, trend arrow, time in range, and a visual graph of your readings over the past several hours. Scroll back to review previous days and spot patterns in your glucose data.

AI-powered insights analyze your glucose patterns and provide easy-to-understand summaries of your trends over time. These insights highlight recurring patterns like post-meal spikes, overnight stability, and weekly averages. They help you see the bigger picture beyond individual readings. Insights are designed to help you have more productive conversations with your healthcare provider and are not intended as medical advice.

The CGM management screen lets you connect and manage your data sources in one place. Link your Dexcom Share account for real-time data or connect a Nightscout site URL for universal CGM support including Libre, Medtronic, and other devices. You can disconnect and reconnect at any time without losing your stored readings.

Your glucose history is stored securely with encryption. All data transmission between the app and server uses HTTPS. Your credentials and API keys are stored securely and never shared with third parties.

LinkLoop is designed to be simple and focused. There are no ads, no social feeds, and no unnecessary features. It helps you track glucose and share that information with the people who matter most.
