Vinasun Taxi is the official taxi booking application in Vietnam provided by Vinasun Corporation. In addition to the traditional ways, Vinasun Taxi mobile application gives customers a new way to book Vinasun taxis from smartphones.

Key features:

(1) allow customers to book taxis in advance.

(2) assign the nearest available taxi with detailed information about the car, the driver as well as the expected picking time. Customers could make direct phone call to the driver.

(3) allow customers to know and store his/her trip cost in the application thanks to the synchronization with the taxi meter.

(4) provide the distance and cost estimation if the departure and destination are provided.

(5) customers could cancel the booking without being charged.

(6) allow customers to find past trips and related information from the history list.

Ratings and reviews

First of all, the app ALWAYS charges more than the meter, at least 20k or 30k or more. I will never use this app again, especially when grab is faster and cheaper. Additionally, drivers seem to cancel constantly forcing you to rebook over and over. Sometimes it can take 45 min to get a taxi that doesn't cancel. Grab drivers almost never cancel.

The app basically works, however, it keeps sending the notification "Taxi is being dispatched" after the ride is long completed, so I have to force stop it every time after use. Also, many of the drivers are not aware of Momo payments, so either pay in cash or be prepared to have to argue.

After recent update, can't even put the address anymore. It simply doesn't accept any address I input. The greatest update ever! Same as my previous review, you should join the 21st century and develop a normal app or you'll keep losing your market share in rides.
