Accessibility Service API disclosure:
Brain Rot Monitor uses Android’s AccessibilityService API as a core part of its screen-time and focus monitoring features. With your permission, the service detects when supported apps are in the foreground, observes scroll and window-change events, and identifies short-form video surfaces such as reels and shorts so the app can count reel-style usage, update your Brain Score, show focus reminders, and enforce user-configured app limits.
The AccessibilityService is used only for these user-facing monitoring and focus features. Brain Rot Monitor does not use AccessibilityService to record calls or audio, capture passwords, read private messages, make purchases, change system settings without permission, or prevent you from disabling or uninstalling the app. You can turn the AccessibilityService off at any time in Android Accessibility settings.
Brain Rot Monitor is designed for people who want to take control of their screen time without boring reports or complicated dashboards.
