Finally, a Chromium-based browser with working, encrypted sync that doesn't use Google. There are a couple of problems, however: LastPass sees Vivaldi as an app, not as a browser, so it doesn't take the URL into account and therefore offers no accounts to log into. And there's no easy way to allow third-party cookies on a per site basis. That said, the return of proper sync alone after years in the Brave wilderness makes the switch worthwhile, but it's only on the desktop that Brave comes into its own, with web panels, tab stacking and tiling, built in window capture, sending of tabs to remote devices, and a very detailed level of configurability.

Ian, thanks for using the Vivaldi Snapshot test build and for your review. Glad sync helps. Please report LastPass behavior and the per-site cookie need with device and steps on forum.vivaldi.net and try the stable (red icon). If you enjoy Vivaldi please spread the word and consider 5 stars.

Perfect browser in every Windows, Android and Linux. i love it. even has tab tiling in desktop versions. Only bad side is that in Windows, when you use screen capture tool, it gives you stupid notifications about screen capture. nobody wants that. if this were solved, i'd give 5 stars.

Please give us options like disable page auto refresh whenever we leave the app for a few minutes. Also give us the option to open a new tab in the background by default, rather than to look for it specifically in the menu. Thank you for looking into this!
