About this game

Every word you blast is a word you keep. That's how VocaBurst teaches you a new language. Why does it work? Your brain holds on to whatever feels like survival, so this typing game drops the words you're learning, in Spanish, Japanese, German or 12 other languages, out of the sky as enemies. Type the word, blast it, and it sticks.

TYPING IS THE GUN
Every falling word is real vocabulary. Type it and your laser tears it apart, letter by letter. In Campaign mode you destroy each word twice, once in your language and once in the language you're learning. Your brain remembers what explodes.

WHY IT WORKS
Spaced repetition, the method behind every serious language learning app, decides what falls next. VocaBurst brings each word back at the moment you're about to forget it, as a distress signal. Rescue the word and it stays. No flashcards, no grammar drills. Just one more run.

15 LANGUAGES, ONE GAME
Learn Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Danish, English, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic or Hebrew. Pick the language you speak and the one you want. That makes 126 language pairs and more than 23,000 words, and every language has its own custom typing keyboard.

HOW TYPING MAKES YOU MULTILINGUAL
Typing does what tapping can't. Every word passes through your fingers, and every language has its own keys, from accents to Cyrillic and kana, so muscle memory keeps them apart. Progress, streaks and certification ranks count separately per language: finish a Spanish run, switch to Japanese in two taps, and your ship wears the rank of the language you're flying. Rule whole galaxies in three languages and the game names you a polyglot.

A REAL CURRICULUM, FROM A1 TO C2
Six galaxies, one per CEFR level, from beginner to mastery. More than 1,500 words per language, sorted into themed planets: food, travel, feelings, work. A boss guards each planet. Clear a galaxy and your certification rank goes up, and your ship visibly evolves with it.

FOR TYPISTS, TOO
Arcade mode is pure typing practice: one language, endless waves, WPM and accuracy stats, combos and leaderboards. The game notices which letters you miss and deals them more often. It belongs with word games and brain games, but every round teaches a language.

ALSO IN THE HANGAR
• Echo missions: type whole sentences word by word and watch the translation assemble
• Every kill plays the word's pronunciation
• Boss fights, power-ups and weaponized words
• A run lasts 2 to 4 minutes
• Streaks, daily goals and a robot co-pilot with commentary

WHAT'S FREE
• All of Arcade mode and the first Campaign planet, free forever
• No ads and no account
• Works offline once your language pack is downloaded, audio included

The galaxy's languages are scrambled, Pilot. Type them back.

What’s new

Mission log 1.2: every planet now has a path — word missions, two quizzes, phrases and sentences, a ladder, then the boss. A how-to-say-it line under every word, with a speaker. Runs get a 0–100 grade, near-miss bosses offer a retry, golden crates start a five-minute JACKPOT. Fixes: the confusing typo shield, overlapping chart labels, hardware keyboard keys. Fly straight, Pilot.
