If your business relies on receiving calls while you’re out in the field, do not use Vonage Business expecting the mobile app to work. The app constantly disconnects from the phone and loses connectivity, causing calls to never ring or be missed entirely. Even with strong cellular or Wi-Fi service, it’s unreliable. A business phone app that can’t receive calls defeats the purpose. If you need dependable call delivery outside the office, look elsewhere. The Vonage app simply cannot be trusted.

Overall, it performs the basic functions required for a companion app for my desktop phone. If this was my primary access to business phone lines, I would probably switch carriers. It's not as reliable as I'd need it to be, and it behaves differently on cell networks and WiFi. A daily annoyance is that notifications don't open the app. It's particularly annoying that voicemail notifications don't open the app. With every update I cross my fingers, but it has remained annoying for 5 years so far.

App works pretty well for what its meant to do. Only complaint is it seems to have "authentication errors" and doesn't keep my signed in. The app has authentication errors every now and again and I have to sign in every couple of days. It's a minor inconvenience and the only negative is that I have to sign in again which I don't mind, but it can be pretty annoying to some. The app works pretty well otherwise and your able to control the calls from the app very well.
