It's a good app to have on your phone. It works really well and packed with helpful advice and information. It's safe to use, and there is a listing of events and useful group support in your local areas (it's categorised). It doesn't require much more than an email address and to create a password to set up a very easy sign up .

It works. But WHY does it not have a map showing reported incidents?! Literally all I want from it is to know where is and isn't safe to be.

Shares your info with Vodafone, Stonewall and Gallop. Not many events listed at all. App is a bit jumpy/glitchy which is irritating. Glossary is good if you don't know the terms. Doesn't make it clear that a 'hate crime' is a crime that is motivated by hate to a demographic under the Equality Act, so is probably harvesting data that isn't related to a hate crime . Given the massive data sharing inherent in the app I would advise direct reporting to galop or the police and not this app.
