About this app

Volcanoes & Earthquakes shows the latest earthquakes worldwide or only quakes near you, as well as earthquake "I-felt-it" reports for earthquakes, in near real-time. It also shows active volcanoes on a map and as a list, along with volcano news from all the world.
You can filter and display the data in various ways, for example by magnitude or age of earthquakes, distance from your location, volcano status and much more.

NEW, 05/09/24. Now with full page ads that lock up my phone. DELETE Seems like every time I open this app there is more advertising. Becoming very annoying. 05/10/23 new update + new full page advertisement = me looking for a new App. Unobtrusive ads, no problem, full page advertisement that you have to click out of, problem ! 04/24 Now have to close app to get out of advertising, reopen app and the ad is still there.

It's a pretty reliable app. Alot of parameters ya can set to your liking. Get alerts from local or worldwide. Living new the New Madrid fault area, this app performs well when compared to others. At times I get the update before the USGS. I use the paid version & it is well worth it. Information it details is exceptional. Simple to use. Great for tracking quakes in my area. Give it a go, odds are you'll keep it. Well done....

I was so impressed by what I saw I had to review it before I've even had it a day. This is what I was looking for! Deleted 2 other apps because this combined all the features they had plus offered more (hadn't even considered volcanoes before this). Robust settings options. Great sorting selections (time of occurrence, distance, magnitude, region, and more!). Ability to report felt earthquakes. There's so much I will run out of space if I try. Very impressed.
