Photograph each item, then add what matters: what you paid, when you bought it, the serial number, and the condition it is in. Group everything by category so a whole kit stays easy to find.
COVERAGE AT A GLANCE
Mark each item insured or not, with the provider, the policy number and the renewal date. The vault shows you what is covered and what is still exposed, so nothing sits uninsured because you forgot about it.
WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Export a complete valued inventory and send it to your insurer or the police. Everything you recorded goes with it, so a claim starts from real documentation instead of memory.
