The Android app is adequate for dealing with answering calls directed to a Vonage-subscribed number, but there is NO WAY to set a specific ringtone so you know it's coming to a Vonage number. So it sounds like any other call to your mobile, even though it's NOT to your mobile! Plus, after closing a call the app leaves multiple windows up. I have not tried using this app to make outgoing calls; I'm not even sure it's possible.

So far we have had excellent luck. Even in remote places using the app. One small hitch: touch tone function doesn't work correctly. When you are entering numbers the app doesn't transmit the touch tone properly sometimes so accessing options in some services like AT&T, WELLS FARGO etc becomes difficult. Developers please improve touch tone functionality

This is a functional app, but I can't say it's very good. It does what it says - enables you to see and take calls to your Vonage "land line" on your cell phone, which is very convenient. I do wish the following behaviors could be improved. * When a call is ringing, you see caller ID information for it. However, in the history, only the phone number is displayed. It would be _much_ nicer if the history showed called ID, as the history on every every cell phone dialer app I've every experienced does. * If you _answer_ a call, it does not go in your history - only calls that you miss or initiate are recorded. This is incredibly inconvenient if your call drops, as you have no way to call them back unless you already knew their number. (This one strikes me as an outright bug.) * The answer and hangup buttons are right on the bottom of the screen. Because the screen activates when a call comes in, I can't count the number of times I've either answered or hung up on a call when simply pulling it out of my pocket. These buttons should be raised so that you can touch the screen edge without pressing them. There's more, but I'm out of space! :)
