You already know which apps and sites cost you your evenings. The problem was never knowing — it's that at 2 a.m. you are not the same person who decided to stop.
BlockVI lets that first person win.
BLOCK WHAT YOU CHOOSE
Pick any app on your phone and put it under guard. Add any website by domain — blocking a domain covers everything under it. A full-screen guard covers whatever you open, then returns you home.
A BUILT-IN LIST OF 53,907 ADULT DOMAINS
Turn on one switch and the whole list is enforced. It ships inside the app, so every check happens on your device — no request leaves your phone, and nobody can know which sites you visit.
THE LOCK — THE PART THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
Any blocker you can switch off in one tap is decoration. With Lock Mode on, one rule applies everywhere: strengthening your guard is instant, weakening it takes time. Removing an app, deleting a site, turning the guard off, adding an exception — all of it waits out a delay you set yourself, while you were calm. You can cancel at any point. You just can't rush it.
THE SHIELD
Need protection right now, not a permanent rule? Raise the Shield for 15 minutes to 4 hours. Once raised, it cannot be lowered before the end — only extended. It is told to you before you commit, never after.
HOURS THAT DECIDES FOR YOU
Set recurring windows and the guard rises on its own. Nobody remembers to protect their evening at 11 p.m., precisely because at 11 p.m. they don't want to. Decide it once, in daylight.
WINDOWS FOCUS
Give a window an allowlist and it becomes a focus window: everything is blocked except what you named. Your phone stops being a phone and becomes a tool for one task.
DAILY LIMITS
Don't want to block an app outright? Give it a budget. Fifteen minutes of a social app per day, then it goes under guard until tomorrow.
EXCEPTIONS
Any list of 53,907 domains contains false positives. Add an exception and it passes — but under Lock Mode, adding one waits out the delay too. The escape hatch is not a back door.
AN EMERGENCY DOOR, ALWAYS
A blocker you cannot get out of is a trap, not a tool. Write an emergency request from inside the app and a human can lift the guard remotely. You never decide the outcome yourself — that's what makes the rest hold.
BUILT SO IT CAN'T WATCH YOU
This matters more here than anywhere else, so it is worth being precise:
• The addresses in your browser are checked in memory and discarded immediately. No history is built, nothing is stored, nothing is sent.
• The list of your installed apps never leaves your device.
• No ads. No analytics. No tracking. No advertising ID.
• No account, no sign-up, no email address, no password.
• The only thing that ever leaves your phone is an emergency request, and only if you write one.
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
It is not a parental control tool — there is no remote dashboard and no way to supervise another person's phone. It blocks your own device, by your own decision. It makes no medical or health claims.
FREE
Every feature above is free. No subscription, no in-app purchase, no locked options.
Available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Indonesian, Turkish, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Arabic.
BlockVI needs an accessibility service to recognize which app is open and to read the address shown in your browser's address bar. It is the only way Android allows an app to do this. Exactly what is read, and why, is shown to you in full before you enable anything — and none of it is ever stored or transmitted.
Block apps and websites. Lock your rules so you can't undo them later.
