KATAKANA LENS — a new drill for loanwords
You already know what ピザ means; this teaches you to read it. Pick the right spelling out of four, and see exactly which character was wrong — a missing ー, a small ッ, a dakuten. Open it from the More menu, or point the camera at something and tap "Read it".
AR NOW HAS A WORD FOR EVERYTHING IT SEES
Coverage went from 59 of 80 recognisable objects to all 80. The food, sports gear and street objects the camera used to spot and say nothing about now teach a word.
A MUCH BIGGER LIBRARY
Grammar grew from 152 points to 506 across N5–N1, and kanji from 474 to 930 — Kyoiku grades 1 and 2 are now complete. Nearly every vocabulary word has illustrated art.
SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE
No confirmation email to lose, no password to invent.
FIXES
• Purchases are counted once. Some were being counted more than once.
• The app no longer teaches "computer mouse = ねずみ" (that's the animal).
• Tapping a kanji in the Browse grid opens it.
• Mistake Blitz no longer offers the same wrong answer twice in one drill.
• Lesson practice draws its wrong answers from your own JLPT level, so getting a question right means you knew it — not that the alternatives were obviously too advanced.
