WALKn is a free step counter with a game on top.

Every step you take goes into your in-game gear — a virtual shoe that levels up, earns stats, wears down, and slowly becomes unmistakably yours. Socket a charm. Craft the laces you want. Repair it and level it up. Everyone starts in a plain pair. What yours turns into is entirely down to how far you walk.

It's a proper step counter and walking app — accurate, quiet, and free. It just wraps a game around your daily steps, so you actually keep opening it.

REAL STEPS ONLY
This is the part we care about most. Most pedometers count any shake. WALKn checks how you're actually moving — your walking rhythm and your real displacement — so shaking your phone or driving doesn't earn you anything. Only confirmed steps reach the leaderboards.
