Stratego is a two player strategy game where each player controls an army of 40 pieces with the goal of capturing the enemy flag. The pieces of the opponent are hidden until engaged in battle, so you’ll have to be tactical to reveal the location of important enemy pieces. Use special pieces, like bombs, miners and spies to gain an advantage over your opponent and win.

Using an ad blocker turns this into a mostly free app; however, I don't like the timer. I was just having my best game so far, but I lost because the timer ran out. Please add a setting where I can TURN OFF THE TIMER, especially because the opponents in the main mode seem to be automated -- they always know the next move automatically and don't ever let the timer tick.

The app seems to run great, even on my low end phone, and the bots are decently capable if you're a new player wanting to get a feel for the game. The pricing is practically predatory though. a niche board game looking for a monthly subscription is... questionable. Maybe if it was cheaper, and there was an ad option, it'd be okay. but as it is, I can't recommend this app if you're serious about playing. There are websites where you can play for free.

This used to be one of the best, most user-friendly apps on the market. No ads, no microtransactions, no even monetization. I stopped playing for a few months, then came back to paid cosmetics. Fine, I get it, devs need a return. But now? Intrusive ads that you have to pay an overpriced monthly subscription to remove. Said subscription also comes with completely unnecessary features, and at this rate it's only a matter of time until things you used to get for free get paywalled. I'm disappointed
