I used the Sense S2 all of 2024 with minimal issues. Installation was straight forward. Unit worked flawlessly except for a few times when a daily reading would spike for a day or two then go back to normal. A quick test with reagents confirmed the cartridge missread. I believe these were caused by water flow issues in skimmer. Overall a great product and value.

The WaterGuru Sense S2 is great. No more running to the pool store. I just wish i could control when it checks the pool water. I think every day is overkill. I would like an option to schedule my checks for when it's convenient for me. Also, I would like to see a cartridge capable of measuring salt. Otherwise, I love the product it works extremely well.

I have tried most of the pool chemistry monitors on the market and WaterGuru is the only one I found to be reliable. Others gave inaccurate reading or failed altogether. After using the original Sense for a number of years, I upgraded to the Sense S2 primarily to monitory CYA. As I use Home Assistant (HA) for my Smart Home, I can use the integration to monitor the pool directly in HA. If you have a pool, I highly recommend WaterGuru for monitoring and managing pool chemistry.
