About this app

Scan a bottled water label and find out what is actually printed on it - minerals, TDS, pH - then ask a water specialist what any of it means for taste.

SCAN THE LABEL
Point the camera at a bottle, or pick a photo from your gallery. The app reads the brand name off the label. It reads what is printed: if a name is not legible, it tells you instead of guessing.

READ THE MINERAL PANEL
When a brand is not in the catalog, the app reads the mineral table off that same photo - pH, TDS, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, bicarbonates, chlorides and sulfates. Results are enriched with data from Open Food Facts, with an AI fallback when a value is missing.

ASK THE SOMMELIER
A chat assistant for water, and only water:
- What TDS and pH actually do to mouthfeel
- How calcium, magnesium and sodium change flavor
- Still against sparkling, and what carbonation does to a dish
- Which water to pour with which food
- What filtration does to a mineral profile
- How to taste water properly, step by step

Type your question or ask it out loud - voice input is built in. The Sommelier stays on water topics and hands medical questions back to a professional.

TRACK YOUR DAY
Log what you drink against a daily goal. One tap per glass.

BUILD A LIBRARY
Every scan is saved, so the waters you have tried are there to compare against the next bottle you pick up.

WHO IT IS FOR
People who taste carefully. Cooks and hosts choosing what to pour. Anyone who has stood in a store aisle wondering what separates one bottle from the one beside it, and wanted a straight answer instead of marketing copy.

FREE AND PRO
Free includes 5 scans and 5 conversations every month, and each conversation runs to 10 answers.
Water Sommelier Pro lifts both limits, as a monthly or annual subscription billed through Google Play. Cancel any time in your Google Play subscriptions.

WHAT THIS APP IS NOT
Water Sommelier reads and explains what is printed on a label. It does not test water, it does not measure anything, and it does not tell you whether water is safe to drink. It is not medical, dietary or nutritional advice - talk to a qualified professional for that.
