Honestly, only good thing about max is the shows. I watch it on my phone, and for a few days it's perfectly fine, no glitches, whatever. But randomly I go to watch a show, and it freezes my phone, stays frozen for 5 minutes straight, then shuts down. It also plays the audio of the show, I just can't see anything, it's a black screen. I tested this on other apps like Netflix and it doesn't happen. I've tried clearing the cache, updating my phone, it continues doing it. Honestly disappointed.

Paused shows/movies are completely losing the spot you left off. Trying to select a different episode since it didn't save and left you on the last one is unnecessarily difficult. Thumbnails are sloppy and slow. No need to change from something that worked great to a whole new app. Could've just changed the name. Only updated to let you know that not much has changed and is still one of the worse streaming apps. Screen doesn't go dark anymore so barely an improvement. Would rate 0/5 if I could.

Worst streaming app, even including Disney Plus. The service itself is great, but the app constantly crashes during streaming, has consistently poor UI choices with many options being impossible to find, and offers a useless skip button for the ads that doesn't work. All seen on a fully updated S23 Ultra. Honestly to the point that I will cancel my subscription if the app isn't optimized correctly for Android at some point. Max is part of a multi-billion dollar affiliate. Do better.
