About this app

Typing your warehouse login with cold gloves on is miserable. So we made Scan Login.

Enter your User ID and Password once. The app turns them into two Code 128 barcodes you can scan with your handheld in about half a second. No more squinting at the keypad. No more typos. No more peeling the glove off.

What it does
• Displays your login credentials as barcodes that any Code 128 scanner can read
• Shows a persistent notification on your lock screen — power button, tap, barcodes
• Adds a Quick Settings tile for one-tap access from the notification shade
• Auto-dims after 30 seconds and closes after 60, so your login isn't sat on the screen when you walk away

Built for warehouse gloves and cold hands
Tested in a chiller at 3°C. The barcodes are large, contrast is high, and you don't need to take anything off.

No data leaves your phone
• No accounts
• No internet connection required
• No ads, no analytics, no telemetry
• Credentials stored locally using Android's encrypted storage (EncryptedSharedPreferences)
• Not included in cloud backups
• Deleted the moment you clear them or uninstall

We can't see your login even if we wanted to. We don't want to.

Who this is for
Warehouse workers, stock pickers, logistics crews, anyone whose login system accepts a scanned barcode instead of a typed login. If your handheld scanner reads Code 128 (most do), this will work.

Who this is not for
If your login system uses OTP codes, security keys, SSO, biometrics, or anything that rotates — this won't help. This is for static User ID and Password combos that you type into a terminal over and over.
