Once you’re up and running the app will quickly become your go-to for real-time weather conditions, lightning and rain alerts, and the most accurate forecast for your location - guaranteed.

Data available in the Tempest app includes:

- Lightning detection and alerts up to 40 km
- Wind, UV, solar irradiance
- Rain rate, accumulation, rain onset alerts
- 10-day forecast
- Historical weather data graphs

Ratings and reviews

Normally not a bad app, but not that uncommon for it to indicate data not available on the widgets. Also, yesterday, while getting 0.4" rain the home screen of the app only showed cloudy, it did not show Rain rate, accumulation, as the app descritption says and as it used to. To find that I had to tap on the home screen and look at the stats. Not that helpful.

the only way I could be happier with this would be if the physical weather station was free and for me to have full creative control of the design of the app 😁 but apart from those, this is an AWESOME weather station! I love it! the app seems great and has exactly what I wanted from a weather app! for aesthetics I would add the degree symbol to the ongoing status bar icon but I'll take this if it means the icon is larger. Great product!

I have been very happy so far with this app and the Tempest weather station. it seems to be accurate for my location. But, due to the setup location in the city, I don't feel the wind speed is always accurate. but it gives a general readout for its location. it was very easy to connect with my internet, and the ease of app functionality is really simple and user-friendly. I would recommend this device and app to those interested in a weather station for your local conditions. (1 month review.)
