The Weber Connect app is your secret ingredient to perfectly grilled food. Paired with your Weber Connect device, it acts as your step-by-step grilling assistant sending notifications directly to your smart phone for anything from when to flip your steak, wrap your brisket, or slice your turkey.

We've paired our step-by-step guidance with rich images and videos to provide you with the comfort of knowing exactly what to do as well as when and how to do it. I wouldn't recommend this product. Some UI elements are nicely designed but connectivity and temp alerts/notifications hardly work. Would be nice to have a home screen widget. No major feature improvements in app updates makes me wonder if it is still supported. Lacking some key functionality that is available in others at a similar price. Update 4/29: Continued connectivity issues, failed updates and hours on hold with customer service. I got BBQ Go by Inkbird and it's been reliable.

Absolute garbage. Purchased a Weber Smart connect grilling hub on clearance. After charging and getting it to pair (allegedly). Could never get the app to connect to the unit or display temps it after it required a software update. Update: already tried all the troubleshooting last night. Returned it anyways. Garbage app or unit didn't care to waste anymore time. I have an automation background. Research indicated plenty of issues with this app & hub combination.

Patrick, we are sorry to hear of your frustration. To get up and running, we recommend resetting your Connect Hub by using a pin on the back of the device for about 5 seconds. After that, please open the Weber Connect app and attempt to pair. If you are still running into any trouble, please submit a support request via the app and we will assist!

The app did repeatedly ask me to update the smokefire firmware even though I did on the first boot up for the smokefire. But afterwards stopped asking to update the firmware. The presets are nice for the different cooks but it would be nice that you could ID the different probes other than the presets. A graph would be very helpful. One that shows both internal and ambient temperatures. Historical cook data would be good as well. Overall, the app is a great help. Looking forward to an update.
