1AM is a non-custodial wallet for the Midnight network — a privacy-first chain where you hold your own keys, your balances stay on-device, and shielded transactions keep amounts and recipients off public ledgers.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Send and receive NIGHT and any Midnight asset across shielded (private) and unshielded (public) lanes from one screen.

• Mint your own NFTs directly from your phone. Pick an image, name it, and 1AM walks you through deploy and mint with a progress stepper you can actually read.

• Launch fungible tokens with custom name, symbol, decimals, and supply — shielded or unshielded — without a laptop or command line.

• Browse owned NFTs and tokens with real artwork and metadata, not raw hex addresses. Tap any asset to see the contract details.

• Generate dust by registering NIGHT for the dust circuit, then track each UTXO's progress to maturity.

• Bridge Cardano L1 to register cNIGHT for dust generation, with on-device key derivation and ADA fee management.

• Save contacts, scan QR codes, and reuse addresses across send flows.

USE MIDNIGHT APPS

• A built-in dApp browser opens curated Midnight apps from the 1AM directory — explorers, faucets, proof tools, and partner surfaces — directly inside the wallet.

• Connect your wallet to any Midnight dApp with one tap. 1AM shows the origin, the requested action, and the expected signature before anything is sent.

• Phishing protection runs on every URL you open. Risky or spoofed domains get flagged before they can request a connection.

• Switch between mainnet, preview, and preprod surfaces from the address bar — the dApp directory adapts to whichever network you're on.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL

• Your seed phrase is generated on your device, encrypted with a 4-digit PIN you choose, and stored in iOS Secure Enclave-backed storage.

• Optional Face ID unlock keeps the wallet locked when you're not using it.

• 1AM never sees your private keys or your funds. Self-custody, end to end.

PERFORMANCE

• Fast-sync seeds your wallet from collapsed merkle snapshots, so cold-boot from a recovered phrase lands you on a synced wallet in seconds, not minutes.

• Built with native iOS performance in mind — React Native Fabric runtime, with ZK proving handed off to the 1AM proof service so your phone stays cool.
