About this app

An Eye On It turns your phones into a simple, private camera system with a calmer, brighter feel than traditional CCTV apps.

Use one phone as the camera and another phone as the viewer. Name each camera for the job — Front door, Cat corner, Birdhouse, Nursery or Living room — and check in when you need to.

Version 1 includes:

• Live phone-to-phone video viewing
• Camera names and camera types
• Secure one-time pairing codes
• Local snapshots saved to your own phone
• On-device motion, low-light and optional sound-level indicators
• Light and dark appearance
• Free access, with future memberships clearly marked as coming soon

Privacy-first by design:

• Live video is sent using WebRTC rather than stored by the An Eye On It service.
• Snapshots are saved to your phone only when you tap Snapshot.
• Optional sound checks measure levels on the camera device; audio is never recorded or uploaded.
• You can delete your account from Settings.

Important: An Eye On It helps you check in, but it does not replace adult supervision, professional security equipment, medical equipment, emergency services or certified baby-monitor hardware.
