BinDayNI is an independent app and does not represent, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by, any government entity or council. Every source of information used in this app is listed in full at the bottom of this description - always check with your council if in doubt.

Never hear the bin lorry with your bin still at the back door again.

BinDayNI tells you which bin goes out and when - and reminds you the evening before, naming the exact bin. Free, simple, and made for Northern Ireland.

✔ Your schedule, automatically - enter your address and your collection dates come straight from your council's own published information.

✔ Home screen widget - which bin is next and when, at a glance, without opening the app. On iPhone and Android.

✔ Every address covered - council not supported yet? Set your own schedule in a minute with Manual Mode and get the same reminders. We'll notify you when your council is added.

✔ Night-before reminders - "Put out the BLUE bin tonight." Pick the time that suits you.

✔ Bank holidays flagged - if a collection falls on a bank holiday, the Upcoming tab says so, so you know to double-check with your council.

✔ Where do I take THIS? - find which recycling centre near you takes batteries, mattresses, garden waste and more, with opening times and directions.

✔ Your council, one tap away - report a missed collection, request a new bin, book a bulky pickup, and more, via your council's own official pages linked inside the app.

✔ Private by design - no account, no ads, no tracking. Your details stay on your phone.

- Corrected the opening hours for Mid & East Antrim recycling centres
- Removed Lisbellaw recycling centre, which has closed
- Sharing the app now sends a link for both stores
