Ratings and reviews

Not very good. Coin Identifier works offline, that is one better thing and Coin Snap has unlimited free uses. Those two are way better. It is very difficult to believe people actually would rate this app as high. All three of the apps still change the estimated price even with the same coin which indicates they are not actually able to analyze the coins fully. But if you have difficulty seeing, they work fine.

Nice app, provides lots of usable information! However, advertises as a free app, but in reality, there's only a 3-day free trial. Otherwise I believe it said $39.95 (I can't remember if it was per yr or mo). Also, you have to put your credit card # in, and if you don't cancel before the trial is up, they will charge you the $39.95! Really simple to use, though, & gives you lots of info, including how much coin is worth! EDIT: Please see the developer's response below about the cost ...

Buyer beware. This service did not correctly identify several coins, and it didn't even recognize most that I tried. I signed up for the 3 day trial, sat with my box of coins, and tried it out. Not impressed. Beware - the app claims you can cancel anytime within the app or by contacting customer service. The app does not offer the option to cancel and customer service takes days to get back to you claiming they cannot cancel. By this time your card is charged and you're stuck.Buyer Beware!
