I was about to take it off, re-box, and send back to the store because it would not connect, could only sometimes find the lock and/or wifi setting up with Android on my Google Pixel 6 phone. Wrestled with it for two hours without success. Then I tried with my wife's iPhone 6 plus. Worked first time. There are some definite problems with this app, but the hardware works well.

One issue that occurs randomly and often is that you will use app to open or lock door and app and hardware become entranced. App will just continue saying updating status forever. Closing, restating app does nothing. Hardware will also be in weird state where you hear the motor each time you turn the deadbolr. And it has nothing tm to do with the battery or, wifi because the app sends a correct notification each time you lock unlock. So it does know the status but keeps saying checking status.

Great once devices are connected. Unfortunately issues started with Bluetooth pairing. The lock would pair, I'd get the Bluetooth prompt, then get an internet error from the Weiser app (why?). The pairing would be interrupted, then I'd try to re-pair, getting an error that the lock is already paired, and I'd have to go manually forget the device from my Bluetooth. I did this 4x before it worked. And can you guess what happened when I added the wireless network? same but with rejecting a password
