Westercove™ is a digital grief wellness companion combining grief education, guided
journaling, and personalized support to help adults understand what they are experiencing and
to put language around that which they may not yet know how to explain.
Here for you when the world goes quiet.
Grief support has business hours. Grief does not. It arrives at three in the morning, in a parking
lot, or on an ordinary Tuesday. Westercove is there for those hours.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND
Grief education, in plain words
Most people have never been given language for what they are feeling. Ambiguous loss.
Anticipatory grief. Disenfranchised grief. Instrumental grief. Learning the name for a thing is
often the first relief it offers.
The Grief Library
A growing collection of guidance, strategies, explanations, and educational resources informed
by current grief and wellness research, trusted books, and the experiences of people who have
carried loss themselves. Explore what feels helpful at your own pace. Nothing is assigned, and
nothing is due.
Guided journaling
Short entries count. Westercove asks
questions that fit where you actually are, and it remembers you each time you come back.
Personalized support
What you write is yours. Westercove reflects back what it notices, gently, and it keeps the dates
that matter to you, so an anniversary does not arrive without warning.
A quiet space
No feed. No streak to protect. Nobody performing their grief at you.
WHO IT IS FOR:
Westercove supports four types of grief: death of someone you love, caring for someone
slipping away, the death of a beloved animal, or losing part of your own life through health,
marriage, career, identity, or role.
For adults 18 and older.
ALONGSIDE YOUR CARE, NEVER INSTEAD OF IT
Westercove does not replace therapy or medical care. It fills the hours around them.
If you are in crisis, the app puts 988, the Crisis Text Line, and the Veterans Crisis Line one tap
away, at any hour. Westercove is not an emergency service and is not monitored around the
clock.
PRIVACY
What you write is private. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your
private grief content to advertise to you.
