Brilliant character creator all round - the reason for 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that I feel there is room to make this app truly amazing. I've not found a spell book - just the daily uses of spells. If we could get a description of the spells avaliable that would be brilliant. A dice roller would be a great addition and finally more detailed descriptions. Sometimes the descriptions offered are vague. Overall does what it says on the tin tin very well, but room to go beyond expectations.
I cannot get enough of this app. Do you spend an entire session making your character only to be able to play them next session? Not anymore. You can make a sweet PC of pretty much any level in fifteen minutes. Still like to fully flesh out your personality and inventory? Good thing there's a huge well organized section specifically for your personality. My favorite part is how this app helps new players. No more forgetting about race bonuses or multiclassing. It's all too easy. Love love love it.
I cannot find Passive Perception. This is the best D&D 5th edition character sheet on the Play Store. And as of this date (21/07/16) I have installed and tried all of them. There is lots to love here. I'd like to see more options to change the colours of the whole app. Add in some visual disability accessibility in the process. I'd like to see you collaborate with Titanius Anglesmith's 5e Spellbook app to add spells with minimal effort.
I loved the app, then I tried to import custom data. I use custom data for my games, namely from Unearthed Arcana. There is a way to insert custom data, however, seeing as it requires a Json file or website, and I have little knowledge of code, I can't do this. I tried, however, most of it made no sense to me. I'm now stuck with having to manually input data that's not from standard books. While this isn't the end of the world, it is an inconvenience. I know why you did this though, it is simple for both a computer and person to read the data, making it the ideal format, I would still appreciate it if I could insert a xlsx or pdf or something like that.
I used to use the official dnd5e pdf with adobe reader. It would periodically "forget" entered numbers which made it unusable. This app is light years better. Makes it super easy to create a character and saves time for both newbies and advanced players. The automatic calculations based upon other values is great too. And the cloud save to google drive is really important too.
Simplifies the character creation process, maintains a solid control over progression. An amazing app for beginner and veteran players alike. If you think it is missing something, you probably are not looking hard enough for it. Took me a while to figure out how to change resources that did not involve deleting them. Maybe add customizable backgrounds for the UI? Like importing photos off the device?
