some of these negative reviews are misleading and people shouldn't critique something when they don't fully understand it. #1, in some sense it is pay to play as in u can buy better gear that give u advantages, but I'm very good and get beat with ppl using the stock clubs and balls all the time. so paying does help but it's not a must. and the controls work perfectly fine, u just have to take the time to figure it out. this is not a game you can pick up and expect to be good

Let me preface this, by saying, I've played a number of golf games, over the years. This is one, I wouldn't recommend. There are several issues with this game. The fixed views are the worst. Why can't I look, at a shot, from any angle I choose? Putting is difficult, once again, from the fixed views. There's no easy way to read the greens. Club selection is weird. You can load up, and play with 4 or 5,3 woods, if you wanted to. There's nothing smooth about the gameplay or the graphics.

Still addicted to this game. Had it 5 stars because of its graphics and challenging play. But NOW, they done went and made putting in freaking possible. On the green in 2 with an easy hole placement with a slight right to left break. I 4 putted from 12' away. And not just this hole. I'm a level 95 player. This game is fading. I see why their rating keeps going down.
