Welcome to What When Where, the app for Community Connection!
Stay in the know with what's happening in your community.
A FREE app to find out What’s On, a local Directory and the ability to add your own ‘What’s’ and ‘Businesses’ for FREE
WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF COMMUNITY!
What When Where is the result of a very active regional community that struggled with knowing of all the activities and events happening in their little region. The frustration of other social media sites presenting Ads rather than the content from groups followed more often then not resulted in seeing posts for activities days after they happened…..
And this regional community like many others benefits from tourism, so What When Where is also aimed at making it easy for visitors to find out what’s on, while they are in town, reviewing the app from home or by signing up to the newsletter to help plan future return trips.
FEATURES:
LOCATION AWARE: as you travel between communities, local What’s and Directories are presented.
SEARCH: Easy search capabilities to find suitable interests… and across all communities.
NOTIFICATIONS: for What’s that interest you, Favorite, Add to calendar and Alerts if the What changes.
NEWSLETTER: signup for weekly or monthly additions to be aware of; and across communities to plan for.
ACCOUNTS: no login required - but having one allows more options, like copying What’s and reusing them. Use your Outlook, Gmail, Apple or Facebook account to login.
EMERGENCY ALERTS: get messages out to the community regarding local actions during declared local emergencies.
WHATS ON WIDGET IN YOUR WEBSITE: Use our Widget builder to add your own branded calendar. Submit your What to What When Where and your own Website Calendar updates to!
DISPLAY SCREEN VIEW: Use an internet enabled Android TV, computer connected display, Google Chromecast or Amazon Firestick device to present the local community What When Where to guests and visitors, to show case the communities offerings and keep them busy. Great for retail, Pubs and Clubs or Air BnB’s to entice visitors to more activities!
BROADCAST NOTIFICATIONS: Send out broadcast notifications to a community, use this to advise of changes to a major event, a reminder for something new, call out for volunteers or anything else that may be important in your community. (use sparingly, don't SPAM!)
