I have spasmodic dysphonia, which means at times it's very hard to understand my speech. I can whisper into this, it converts to my "good" voice based on samples I recorded when voice was strong, and then I can play it back. it has been a godsend for me, eg able to record a voicemail message (don't expect a call back haha) to recording a message for pharmacist to ask a question..all sorts of occasions. I live alone so can't always rely on others to speak on my behalf. Thank you :)

I wanted to try this app before recommending it to a friend with vocal cord issues, but it requires notifications on and requires your verified phone number. I know this is standard in this industry now, but I'm not exposing myself unnecessarily. BTW my friend is even more privacy conscious than I am.
